Changing Laptop Memory Was Never Simpler

Always remove the power cord after switching off the laptop. Your next step is to remove the battery from the laptop. For this, you need to remove the battery panel by sliding or clicking the release button. After removing the panel, simply take out the battery using the tweezers.

Now, after removing all the power sources we are set to remove the memory. Locate the memory panel which is near the battery panel and with the help of the screw, open the memory panel. Keep the screw at a safe place so that you do not lose it.

Now unclamp the memory modules or the memory chips with hand and pull out the chip. Pull it out with a bit of care. Get your new Memory chip and align the notches of it with that of the memory slot and push it in the slot slowly till the notches are set and the memory chip is properly inserted. Failing to do so might not let you screw the panel properly.

Put down the chip in the groove or the cavity and make sure it is set. Get the panel and screw it back. Now plug the laptop and switch it on. Make sure to get in the laptop's BIOS and update your new memory chip (RAM) on it. Failing to do so won't let you use the new memory, as the laptop won't recognize it. So, make it compatible before using it.
